Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Senior Producer, Exhibitions & Demo Programme to lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of the Demo Programme across a signature client portfolio.
This is a key leadership role within a complex, high-profile technology event environment. You'll take each demo from initial submission through creative review, technical validation, onsite testing and final show-ready delivery, ensuring every element is planned, coordinated and delivered to the highest standard.
Sitting at the intersection of programme management and exhibition production, you'll work closely with client Demo Owners, Showcase, Creative, Technical Production and the wider delivery team. You'll establish the structure, governance and ways of working needed to manage a high volume of demos and interconnected requirements, bringing clarity, consistency and control to a complex programme.
We're looking for someone who can confidently lead multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities and translate complex creative, operational and technical requirements into a clear, deliverable plan.
What you'll be doing
Programme Leadership & Governance
Own the overall Demo Programme plan, delivery strategy and approach across a signature enterprise client.
Establish programme governance, milestones, decision points and clear accountabilities.
Lead a high volume of demos and environments, balancing individual requirements against wider programme priorities.
Anticipate programme-level risks and dependencies, escalating material issues and driving timely decisions.
Provide senior stakeholders with clear visibility of programme health, priorities, risks and decisions required.
Establish effective ways of working that support consistency, accountability and successful delivery across the programme.
Demo Owner & Client Management
Act as the primary day-to-day lead for demo owners and relevant client stakeholders.
Set clear expectations around submissions, responsibilities, requirements and timelines.
Guide demo owners through the process, addressing incomplete information, late inputs and changing requirements.
Build trusted relationships through proactive, consistent and solutions-focused communication.
Ensure demo owners understand the support available and what is required to achieve readiness.
Confidently manage expectations and hold stakeholders accountable for their deliverables.
Exhibition, Creative & Technical Integration
Lead the integration of demo requirements into the wider exhibition and event delivery plan.
Partner with Showcase, Creative, Technical Production and delivery suppliers to confirm feasibility and agree practical solutions.
Coordinate requirements across floorplans, space, power, hardware, networking, VPN access, security and other technical dependencies.
Manage the progression of requirements through creative and technical review, ensuring agreed outcomes are reflected in layouts and delivery plans.
Resolve conflicting requirements by bringing together the right stakeholders and establishing a clear route forward.
Ensure creative, technical and operational considerations are aligned throughout the planning and delivery process.
Programme Planning & Readiness
Monitor programme progress and demo readiness against agreed milestones.
Control critical milestones, approvals, changes, actions and outstanding decisions across the programme.
Use clear, exception-based reporting to highlight areas requiring leadership or client intervention.
Drive the programme towards agreed readiness gates ahead of onsite delivery.
Identify potential issues early and take ownership of driving them through to resolution.
Ensure requirements are validated and approved in advance to minimise late changes and onsite risk.
Onsite Production & Delivery
Lead the Demo Programme through installation, commissioning, testing and live delivery.
Coordinate final checks and handover with demo owners, Technical Production and connected workstreams.
Prioritize onsite issues, assign ownership and maintain clear escalation through to resolution.
Oversee the transition of approved demos into a safe, stable and show-ready state.
Maintain visibility across the programme during critical onsite periods, ensuring decisions are made quickly and delivery remains on track.
Continuous Improvement
Lead post-event reviews and translate lessons learned into practical improvements for future client events.
Develop repeatable processes, tools and documentation that strengthen consistency, efficiency and knowledge retention.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce duplication and minimize late changes and avoidable delivery risks.
Drive continuous improvement in programme governance, stakeholder engagement and delivery processes.
What you will bring
We're looking for a highly experienced event production and programme management professional who can bring structure, clarity and control to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
You'll ideally bring:
Significant experience in event production or programme management, with a proven track record delivering complex exhibitions, expos, technology showcases or live event environments.
Experience leading multi-stakeholder programmes with interconnected creative, operational and technical requirements.
Strong programme planning and control capabilities, including milestones, approvals, dependencies, risk management and readiness gates.
Experience working directly with senior clients, partners, technical teams and content owners.
Proven ability to establish processes, drive adoption and maintain accountability across diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong understanding of exhibition production and the technical requirements involved in delivering complex live environments.
Experience with technology demos, networking, hardware integration or digital product showcases would be advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Monday.com or comparable project planning and collaboration tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions and remain effective under pressure.
The kind of leader you are
You're highly organized and naturally bring structure, pace and clarity to complex programs. You're comfortable managing multiple workstreams and understand how individual requirements fit into the bigger picture.
You're a confident and credible communicator who can make complex information clear, concise and actionable. You build strong relationships, collaborate effectively and aren't afraid to challenge constructively or hold stakeholders accountable.
You're proactive and solutions-focused, with the judgement to anticipate issues, prioritize effectively and make timely recommendations. You remain calm and decisive under pressure, particularly during demanding onsite delivery periods.
Above all, you're detail-conscious without losing sight of the wider program, client objectives and attendee experience.
